Sacrificing is selfish and egoistic. It is giving away one of the most valuable part of oneself in the name of remission of sins that have never been committed. There’s no one to conduct this bloody emotional bath. So what’s the point? Pictures of giving and submission threaded for the past. Theatrical gestures of ripping a man apart for another man. Hurting oneself in the name of disbelief in our own humanity.
Sacrificing is not remission.

Ascension
used to being alive, we have no choice but to die
